BEGINNER SEA KAYAK TOUR – NACA02

Summary

This half day tour in the waters of Abu Dhabi is the perfect way to enter expedition sea kayaking gently under the watchful eye of your BCU 5* (British Canoe Union) Lead Guide.

The adventure

Over half a day you will get plenty of opportunity to put into practice what you have learnt on the Noukhada intro to sea kayaking course, this half day tour is also a great preparation for a longer full day or overnight

mini expedition. We take a memorable trip through the unique islands and mangroves of the region and as with all our tours and expeditions, we will be travelling through a habitat rich in wildlife and we should see plentiful bird and marine life en route.

Required Skills: Beginner paddlers who have completed Noukhada’s basic entry level sea kayaking course, intro to coastal sea kayaking – NACC02. Also suitable for sea kayakers who already have some experience or are a bit rusty and want to get back into a sea kayak again.

Suggested: Sun glasses & personal medication; Binoculars & camera (waterproof); and dry bags & spare change of clothes.

Compulsory: Sunhat; Food snacks; Water (suggest 6L); Light weight clothing that can get wet; ‘Wet’ footwear; Bag for refuse; and Spare Clothes to change in.

Recommended: Good meal before launching on the day of the trip

Please note that sea kayaking is an outdoor sport and by its’ very nature exposes paddlers at its worst to strong currents, wind and choppy water as well as potentially  cold conditions. Noukhada Adventure Company cannot take responsibility for any injuries sustained prior to, whilst paddling and/or on completion of a trip/tour.
