Tour Description:

Have you ever sat at the swimming pool or main beach and wondered what is behind that pile of grey sand?This is only available to members of The Club www.the-club.com and starts and finishes from The Club main beach. 2 hours of guided paddling (you paddle yourself) deep into the heart of the Reem Island North Bay mangroves. Kayak across open water, past construction and enter the top of the lagoon. If the tide is high we can paddle through the narrow channels of the Reem Island mangroves. However, if the tide is very low we will not go on the tour because we will not see much, just a whole load of mud!

See man’s impact for yourself on the ecology.

Try and see if the Red Fox is still there or the unique spoon worms. Have the crabs returned after the onslaught by constrcution companies? Are the Herons fishing and is the Marsh Harrier hovering? Find out for yourself.

This tour is higher tide and wind dependent.

The Reem island mangrove tour is a two hour paddle and therefore a certain level of fitness is required however, it is suitable for beginners to experienced paddlers.
