Noukhada operates the majority of its tours from the E48 launch point (Eastern Ring Road (now Shk Zayed Road) on Abu Dhabi Island).

IMPORTANT: Sailing, Bird Island, UAQ and NE (Northern Emirate), Yas, Blo-karts do not operate from this location. If you are unsure

Sheikh Zayed /Maqta Bridge Route

From Sheikh Zayed Bridge

  1. Drive approximately 5kms from the Sheikh Zayed Bridge on Al Salam Street towards Abu Dhabi.  You will drive through one underpass (tunnel) and take the road Exit marked ‘East Road’.  Keep in the far Right lane. You are nearly there.
  2. Turn Right into the Substation which is on your Right.  This is the first building you come to after the road Exit sign as per photograph below.
  3. At the front gate turn Right onto the dirt track.  The team will be waiting for you just behind the first set of mangroves you can see on your Left.

From Maqta Bridge

  1. Cross the Maqta Bridge in the right lane.  Take the road Exit on your Right marked ‘Eastern Ring Road’ (E48) also known as Salam St or Gurum Rd.
  2. Drive on approxiately 5kms, taking you past the Park Rotana on your Left.
  3. Again take the next road Exit marked ‘Eastern Road’.  Keep in the far Right lane.  You are nearly there.
  4. Turn Right into the Substation which is on your Right.  This is the first building you come to after the Exit sign as per photograph below.
  5. At the front gate turn Right onto the dirt track.  The team will be waiting for you just behind the first set of mangroves you can see on your Left.

Maqta Bridge Route

From Abu Dhabi Island

The best way to get there is to head onto Salam street (E48). You can access the E48 from the Tourist club district and many other streets such as 11th, 13th (Delma), 19th (Al Saada), 23rd, 25th, 29th or 31st.

  1. Once you are on Salam street driving away from Abu Dhabi you will have the mangroves on your Left and will pass the new Angsanga resort on your Left. (under construction 2011)
  2. Travel under the new underpass (tunnel) directly after the Eastern Mangrove Resort by Anantara at 31st st junction.
  3. Take the next road Exit marked ‘Ministries complex and Khalifa park’.
  4. Make a U-Turn over the overpass at the first opportunity and then once facing Abu Dhabi again keep in the far Right lane.  You are nearly there.
  5. Take the next road Exit marked ‘East Road’ and keep in the far Right lane.
  6. Turn Right into the Substation which is on your Right.  This is the first building you come to after the U-turn as per photograph below.
  7. At the front gate turn Right onto the dirt track.  The team will be waiting for you just behind the first set of mangroves you can see on your Left.
